Prior to moving back to Southeast Minnesota and settling in the "Shoe City" Rivertown Red Wing his professional and community involvement began in the Twin Cities Metropolitan as many of those years living the Downtown Lifestyle in the heart of the City. He started his career from the bottom up and worked hard as a caretaker of a suburban multi unit building in property management to quickly rise through the rankings of site sales, marketing & leasing both local regional which lead to management within the industry because of his high energy, focus, creativity and genuine enthusiasm for the business. Bush Companies was developed because of a recognized need for a company that could understand real estate on all levels and client backgrounds. Mr. Bush has held positions with the most respected local, regional and national real estate organizations both residential and commercial. His affiliations have been with Sage Companies/the Goodman Group, Village Green Companies, Coldwell Banker Commercial as associate in office, industrial and retail properties, associate vice president with Garfield Clark & Associates a commercial firm providing national site selection & corporate services. Prior to commercial experience he was a senior associate in real estate sales at Edina Realty's corporate offices in Edina, MN where he served as an original member of the company's diversity board.
Kenneth is a true "outside of the box thinker "and has spent his entire professional life in real estate and learned hands on how to negotiate which lead to opportunities to represent many high profile urban uptown/ downtown + suburban home, condo/ loft builders and rural community housing developers in which has resulted in the economic development of many minnesota communities. Non profit real estate experience has been with many organizations in managing new construction projects to include community housing, mixed -use revitalization development projects.
In 2005 during the housing development and real estate boom he formed the first private home concierge service in Mpls/St.Paul as an amenity to clients and has since been a part of the organization now providing executive & general home staging management.

Kenneth is a Graduate of the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business - CRESP Commercial Real Estate Specialist Program, Realtor MBA. Currently is active in community and industry association. Kenneth is a communities advocate/citizen lobbyist and has served on the Red Wing Human Rights Commission, Recently completed a 3 year term on Red Wing 2020 a visionary leadership group serving as advisors to the Mayor where he served as interim chairman of the economic sub - committee in his final year on the board. An appointed current member of the 15 member Blue Ribbon Commission on Economic Development. Re-appointed by the city council in 2011 to a 5 year term on the Housing and Redevelopment Authority Board of Commissioners where he was elected Vice Chairman of the Board.

Bush Companies has been well received

Kenneth Bush relocated his business from the Twin Cities to Red Wing. Bush and his wife, along with his property management company, left the metro for a place more suitable to settle down, he said" I'm focused on raising a family here and im focused on building a solid business here ", Bush said. And since coming to Red Wing, Bush said he's been well received."weve just been embraced". Bush said. the nice response was a nice surprise, as Bush said he was a little nervous not knowing anyone upon moving to town. But all has gone well, he said business included. " I didn't know it was going to pop, " he said.
A Rochester native, Bush said he worked for a number of development firms he started Bush Companies two years ago. Today, the company offers three different primary services.
Bush manages residential properties for homeowners, who for example are living or working out of town. And bush sometimes works for banks, managing foreclosed properties.
He also assists people with relocations, helping them find accommodations whether they're coming to or leaving town.
